We are hiring for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our remote engineering team. We are a small team focused on solving a big and challenging problem. Zapclinica’s mission is to radically shorten timelines to bring new treatments to the market and improve patients’ lives by automating and decentralizing clinical trials. Our technologies allow patients to enroll at home and at local healthcare providers. 

Contribute new features to our platform in a reliable and sustainable manner

Work closely with product management, designers, and UI engineers

Start new greenfield projects like APIs, analytics, 3rd party integrations, etc.

Solve critical problems in innovative ways

Help us plan out our cloud infrastructure as we scale up

Resolve production issues together with the engineering team

Proactive, passionate and have the needed perseverance for creating great software in an imperfect world

Able to work both independently and with teammates in a fast-moving environment

Track record in the development of complex software systems

Strong analytical and design skills and attention-to-detail

Expert knowledge in at least one: Scala, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Java

Deep understanding of cloud architecture and application deployment on AWS

2+ years of experience building single-page applications in any of the modern libraries: Angular, Vue, or React

Good understanding of functional programming concepts: Monads, Functors, and ADT

Impactful work that will help lay the foundation for future projects

Overseeing clinical team members, including hiring, managing, and mentoring.

Ensuring SOPs and regulatory compliance of staff and clinical sites.

Developing SOPs, systems, and policies supporting clinical studies and providing ongoing program updates to include identifying risks and any mitigation strategies and solutions.

Providing feedback to the tech team to improve and grow the capabilities of the platform.

Directly overseeing clinical staffing and management of the clinics. Ensuring compliance with applicable rules and regulations.

Creating, implementing, and continuously improving operations by updating or creating processes and best practices.

The location is flexible and remote. We are a small startup that promotes innovative approaches to clinical operations heavily driven by technology. You must be passionate about building new methods and working with teams that are not afraid to create something from nothing and highly engage in the company’s success and strategy.
